Gateshead Evangelical Church
Our 48th North East Conference warmly welcomes David Hoffbrand to Gateshead.
David Hoffbrand is an author, speaker and singer-songwriter based in Brighton, England.
David grew up in a Jewish family in north London before a series of supernatural experiences led him to faith and a conviction that Jesus truly is the Jewish Messiah. David incorporates elements of his tesimony into his speaing. He communicates in an accessible and engaging style and has a passion to help people rediscover an authentic picture of Jesus and His followers in their Jewish context.
From this reconnection of 'Old' and 'New' David also brings an understanding of God's purposes for the Jewish people and Israel, and His blueprint for the church as Jew and Gentile together.
David ministers locally and internationally in churches, Bible colleges and conferences. He has appeared in programmes such as Jewish Voice, with Jonathan Bernis, and Middle East Report, with Simon Barrett.
He is also a singer-songwriter and has released three albums.
His book, 'The Jewish Jesus - Reconnecting with the truth about Jesus, Israel, and the church' - was published by Destiny Image in May 2017.
David is married to Denise and they have a son, Isaac, who is 3. They are involved in oversight and ministry at CityCoast Church in Brighton.
We look forward to seeing you for this special day of ministry, praise and fellowship. SHALOM!
